here are some templates for you – the baby boomers. nothing fancy nor exotic. templates are like having a “cheat sheet” for your blog. and other writing needs.

just simple and plain templates that will save you time in writing and publishing your blogpost, your important facebook post, or other creative writing.

writing that needs to scannable and to be read easily from mobile devices.

i have created three (now four) templates for you. templates for…

  • for writing in StoryBrand format – a must
  • for writing that blogpost from start to finish
  • for writing your blogpost in wordpress
  • for writing that longer creative piece – short story or a book

StoryBrand – the only way to tell your story

thanks to the creative genius of donald miller

the storybrand script follows this format. and really gets results from your audience.

(1) a character (2) with a problem (3) meets a guide (4) who understands their fear and (5) creates a plan (6) that calls the character to action (7) which ends in success (or failure).

  • a character
    • – who later becomes the hero
  • with a problem
  • meets a guide
    • – a guide who is an authority
    • – a guide who empathizes with her fear
  • who understands her fear
    • – external fear
    • – internal fear
    • – philosophical fear
  • and creates a plan
  • and calls the character to action
  • that ends in success or
    • – if the character follows the plan of action
  • that ends in failure
    • – if the character does NOT follow the plan of action

thanks to donald miller, creator of StoryBrand marketing. this is just pure genius. and works.

write stories and marketing crafted in this manner. and you will get results.

for writing that blogpost from start to finish

[template and blog writing schedule in daily format. so a person writing every day, can publish weekly. in a daily format. and if someone falls behind on their schedule, then stay on the daily path. but still publish consistently. even if one does not meet the weekly goal exactly.]

for writing your blogpost in wordpress

[organize idea. speed idea. after FREE writing, put major ideas – headers – on whiteboard using post-it notes. arrange for good thought flow. then insert spaces for images. on whiteboard – 97 cents each at walmart. go to wordpress. rearrange thought per the whiteboard outline. can i template this process – like geoffrey’s PPM constant contact? can template the entire writing process? yes. (take pics of this process for published blog template) (writing on electronic device is too linear and too limited for my brain) yes. in draft form. then publish the template.]

for writing that longer creative piece – short story or a book

[another template idea. for the process, do something similar for writing a book – tadpole.]

template for writing that perfect email

fro writing that email that gets results.

link to a “before” and “after” email.
